INCREASING THE ETHIC OF SERVICE AND VOLUNTEERISM ACROSS ALABAMA
HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEERS
Welcome to the Alabama ReadyOp Volunteer Response System. This is a partnership between The Governor’s Office of Volunteer Services and the Alabama Department of Public Health that integrates local, regional, and statewide volunteer resources to assist our public health and healthcare systems in planning and communication. This is the State of Alabama’s online system for managing public health and medical disaster volunteer responders. This system supports personnel who may be utilized during disasters, all-hazard response efforts, and public health activities.
Ready to Volunteer?
Are you a qualified medical professional? Do you want to volunteer but do not have medical training? Go to Alabama ReadyOp to pre-register and prepare to help ensure people affected by a disaster will receive the public health and medical care they need.
Who Can Volunteer?
Anyone can volunteer. Volunteers who do not have any medical training are welcomed and encouraged to register. There is a need for volunteers of all skill types and expertise. GOVS and ADPH values all volunteers, even if you have no specific qualifications other than a willingness to help.
How to Register?
This site allows you to register as willing to provide services during a disaster or emergency. The response system will collect basic information about you and your professional skills. Please click on the Register Now button below to register.
