Why did you join AmeriCorps ?

“I joined the AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team because my Mom suggested it after serving one year in 2013-2014. I also joined to help others and to lead students in a positive light.”

What is your favorite part of national service?

“My favorite part of National Service is helping others. I also love learning something new every day. I have created hundreds of memories with wonderful people. My experience in AmeriCorps has been awesome.”

What is your favorite thing to do when you are not serving?

“When I am not serving, my favorite thing is do is spend quality time with my family. We go to the park, movies, read books, and bake cookies.”

What are your plans after AmeriCorps?

“My plans are to finish my Early Childhood Degree, teach in the Butler County School System, and further my education by getting my master’s degree.”
