WHAT IS THE ORGANIZATIONAL GOAL AT THIS SITE?
"To provide instructional assistance in early intervention in which every child is carefully nurtured, monitored, and guided as they grow and develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. The AmeriCorps members assist in strategies in order to develop emergent literacy and math skills, computer awareness, science and technology, physical coordination so each child will be well prepared entering kindergarten."
WHAT IS SOMETHING EXCITING THAT HAS HAPPENED AT THIS SITE?
"Something “EXCITING” is always happening in Bright Beginnings Pre-K. It’s not unusual to have farm animals come and visit the classroom (i.e. pigs, chickens, rabbits, and other creatures). Field Trips to Dreamland Farms in November, having the Polar Express to come for a pajama and hot cocoa party in December. Perhaps the most exciting development has been watching the children experience the Inspire 65” Ultra-HD 10-touch interactive screen from Kaplan Technology."
