"I wanted to be able to make a difference in my community and learn more about myself in the process."

"I enjoy being able to learn from the people I am serving and getting to play a part in organizations that are bettering lives and communities."

"I love to travel and learn about other cultures."

What are your plans after AmeriCorps?

"I hope to have a better idea of my future plans as I learn throughout my year in AmeriCorps, but I think I would like to get my Master's in Spanish to teach Spanish or English as a Second Language."
