Why did you join AmeriCorps?

"I joined the AmeriCorps so that I could reach out to those in need and support those who are struggling in class. AmeriCorps allows me to help those in need and enrich others life with my presence. It will also assist me with paying for my education once my service has been completed. "

What is your favorite part of national service?

"In truth my favorite thing is the kids. I enjoy seeing their smiling faces and them being genuinely happy to see me every day. It makes me feel like I have a huge impact on them and driving them to look forward to the school day."

What is your favorite thing to do when you are not serving?

"Most people who know me know that I am a huge nerd. I love watching Star Trek and playing games. With that being said though I enjoy walking through the downtown areas. The history of Greenville and the architecture has always intrigued me."

What is your favorite soda?

"Vanilla Coke."

What is your favorite snack?

"Tortilla Chips and Queso."

What are your plans after AmeriCorps?

"Attend college, get a business degree and open a Coffee Shop in Greenville, Alabama."
