What is your organizations goal at this site?

The Healthy Relationships Program is offered to middle and high school students. The program is FREE of charge and uses an evidence-based and peer-reviewed curriculum that aims to prevent dating violence among adolescents.

What is something exciting that has happened at this site?

We have already reached 4 schools this year since beginning in September. We were able to do assemblies at: Epic Elementary to their 5th grade students and Wenonah High School to 9th- 12th grades. We have taught a 3 day session to 10th graders at Minor High School and a 1 day outreach session at Miles College to their Gamma Rho sorority. We are excited to go and present our safe dates program to Parker High School next week and Irondale Middle School the week after. We are also looking forward to reaching many more schools throughout the rest of 2016 and through August of 2017.
