Why did you join AmeriCorps ?

"I joined AmeriCorps for the love of volunteering and I was also seeking an opportunity to fulfill a dream of mine becoming a teacher and working with children."

What is your favorite part of national service?

"I love helping student who may be struggling and I’m able to help them understand the concept."

What is your favorite thing to do when you are not serving?

"When I’m not serving I like to play with my 2 year old daughter, read books and listen to music of all kinds. I enjoy volunteering in the community. I help the “Annual Feeding On the Hill”, Community Clean-up projects, and the Community Food Bank plus tutor children at my church."

"Orange Sunkist."

Favorite snack?

"Lays Classic Chips."

What are your plans after AmeriCorps?

"After AmeriCorps, my plans are to finish college to become a teacher in early childhood education."
