Why did you join AmeriCorps? "I joined AmeriCorps because I believed that I could make a difference in some child’s life. Education is so important and I think that a lot of people take it for granted and then realize it later on in life. "

What is your favorite part of national service? "My favorite part of National Service is that somewhere in our nation, we, the members of AmeriCorps have made someone’s day. Whether it was helping pack lunches for Safe Harbor, Children’s Advocacy Center, or helping a child solve a math problem."

What is your favorite thing to do when you are not serving? "My favorite activity after I leave my AmeriCorps day is to sing with my church choir and most recently being part of the Ritz Theatre Players in their annual musical production “Putting On The Ritz” 2017."

What is your favorite snack? "Ice Cold Pepsi."

What is your favorite soda? "Cereal, and it really doesn’t matter what kind."

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? "When I leave AmeriCorps I plan to attend college and I’m not sure at this time what my major will be."
