Member Spotlight: Taylor Edwards

Meet Taylor Edwards, he serves with Birmingham Engaging in STEM AmeriCorps-BETA.

What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? I joined to experience something new, gain experience in national service and to earn a scholarship to further my education.

What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? I would like to gain experience in an urban school setting to possibly explore a career choice for me.

What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? To make a positive educational impact on the students that I tutor so they may take it through life.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? To further my education.
