Member Spotlight: Patrick Little, ANFRC AmeriCorps member

Meet Patrick Little, serving with the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers AmeriCorps program at the Norwood Resource Center.

What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? I wanted to serve my community by providing guidance and opportunity for social and professional enrichment. Also, the education award is a great help.

What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? I would like to gain more organizational skills. Be more involved with more community events and programs.

What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? My service is mainly focused on job readiness. Providing an outlet for individuals needing tips and help with resumes, interview preparation, and job search tools.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? I plan to continue to grow my career and to complete at least one certification in coding. Also continue to grow as an individual.
