Meet Michaela Walls, serving with the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers AmeriCorps program at the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement.

What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? I wanted to experience the corps and learn new things.

What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? I would love to network and learn as much as possible.

What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? I will be serving in the after-school program, Bridges, helping with tutoring and mentoring.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? To have enough networking to at least get offered a teaching job.
