Member Spotlight: Jordin Hill, ANFRC AmeriCorps member

Meet Jordin Hill, serving with the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers AmeriCorps program at the Norwood Resource Center.

What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? My main motivation to join AmeriCorps was to gain work experience and references. AmeriCorps seemed like a good way to gain experience while still serving the community.

What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? I’d like to gain work experience for a future career field. I also want to establish my major for college.

What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? I will be a program coordinator for the job readiness program at Norwood and I will assist with the tax preparation service.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? My plan is to go to college.
