Member Spotlight: Beth Lee, ANFRC AmeriCorps member

Meet Beth Lee, serving with the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers AmeriCorps program at with the HIPPY Program.

What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? I enjoy working with other people and giving back to the community and AmeriCorps seemed like a great fit for both.

What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? I would like to see other people have joy in their lives from something I have done. I also want to gain more knowledge about my program as well as others.

What will your service focus on for the 2017-18 program year? Helping children prepare for kindergarten and helping parents feel successful.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? To continue my education and get a job in my career field.
