Member Spotlight: Jennifer Trawick, AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team Member

Meet Jennifer Trawick, currently serving at W.O. Parmer Elementary School, in the AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team.

1. What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? It's more like who motivated me. My daughter motivated me to become a member.

2. What would you like to get out of this service opportunity? The main goal I aspire to receive from this service opportunity is to inspire and to encourage each person who encounters me. Not only am I there to inspire students and to help them, they are also inspiring me.

3. What will your service focus on for the 2019-2020 program year? My service focus will be helping the students.

4. What are your plans after AmeriCorps? In the future I would like to continue my position with the school as a substitute teacher.
