Member Spotlight: Caitlin Ulry, Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers Member

Meet Caitlin Ulry, currently serving at Alfred Saliba, with the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers AmeriCorps program.

1. What motivated you to join AmeriCorps? I was motivated to join AmeriCorps because I love people and I wanted to help in any way I could. It’s amazing to give back what was extended to me.

2. What would you like to get from this service opportunity? I want to learn how to interact with my community and the people I serve in a truly impactful way.

3. What will your service focus on for the 2019-2020 program year? During this program year, my service will focus on the students I tutor. I love my GED students and their success pushes me to do more and be more.

4. What are your plans after AmeriCorps? I’m working towards a degree in education because that is where my heart is. I plan to work with kids and adults who don’t have easy access to education and learning resources.
