Meet Christopher Robinson, AIST Member, currently serving with Greenville Middle School, a service site of the AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team AmeriCorps program.
AIST members assist students in pre-school - 12th grade in all Butler County Schools (McKenzie, Georgiana & Greenville). AIST partners with community projects & participates in National Service Days throughout the year.
What inspired you to serve as an AmeriCorps member? I love to be around kids and help others and the program gave me the opportunity to help and develop myself.
What are your plans after AmeriCorps? I plan to attend Troy University.
Christopher Robinson is currently serving his first term of service at Greenville Middle School and his summer schedule at W.O. Parmer Elementary. He graduated in 2022 from Greenville High and is working on his credit hours at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. He is going to re-apply for the 2024-2025 AIST program year.
