Member Spotlight: Felicia Scarver, AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team

Meet Felicia Scarver, AIST Member, currently serving with Greenville High School, a service site of the AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team AmeriCorps program.

1. What will your service focus on this year?

During this program year, my service will focus on working closely with school counselors and their staff to encourage students in planning class schedules. Members will assist and help plan activities after-school regarding career choices, assisting in resume, and interviews.

2. What inspired you to serve as an AmeriCorps member?

What inspired me to serve was the chance to works with kids and to help them grow their skills.

3. What advice would you give someone interested in serving with your AmeriCorps State program?

I would tell them to look forward to serving the community and enjoy every moment of this life changing experience.
