Member Spotlight: Kaitlyn Wallace, AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team Member

Meet Kaitlyn Wallace, AIST Member, currently serving with W.O. Parmer Elementary, a service site of the AmeriCorps Instructional Support Team AmeriCorps program.

AIST members assist students in pre-school - 12th grade in all Butler County Schools (McKenzie, Georgiana & Greenville). AIST partners with community projects & participates in National Service Days throughout the year.

What inspired you to serve as an AmeriCorps member? What motivated me to serve another term was seeing the impact that I have with the children that I helped.

What are your plans after AmeriCorps? This is my last year serving and I’m using my education award to further my education at Urshan College in St. Louis.  

Kailtyn Wallace is currently serving her second term of service at W.O. Parmer Elementary. She graduated in 2021 from Greenville High and has completed the WorkKeys Assessment.
