Meet Karolina Broclawik, TFA Member currently serving with John Herbert Phillips Academy, located in Birmingham, Alabama (Jefferson County). A service site of the Teach for America Alabama AmeriCorps program.

Teach For America finds, develops, and supports equity-oriented leaders to transform education and expand opportunity for all children.

What inspired you to serve as a Teach for America/AmeriCorps member? I wanted to create change in the education system, while pursuing my passion of education.

What are your plans after Teach for America/AmeriCorps? After AmeriCorps, I plan to continue teaching.
